Storyland-Have anything for ages 10-14 or too old?

We will be going with our 10-14 year old children to Franconia in AUgust, 2003, are they way too old for Storyland? If so, anything similar that they would enjoy?
Finally, does anyone know if adults have to pay even if they just watch?

Thanks
Ken

I haven't been there for several years, but my recollection is that yes, ages 10-14 would be way too old for Storyland.

I would agree that they're way too old for Storyland. They have a website with details and admission charges. No, adults can not go in for free to just watch.

But, there's lots to see and do in the area. See www.visitnh.gov

Thank you all for the very helpful responses. Other amusement parks, water parks, or activities near Franconia, in particular, that anyone recommends?
Thanks
Ken

Well, there's the Whale's Tail water park in Lincoln, but otherwise you're pretty far north for touristy stuff. Around Fanconia, most activities are focused on the local natural beauty and resources -- mountain climbing, etc. There are a few interesting railways that take scenic routes. If you're desperate for a "tourist attraction," try the Polar Caves.

We went to Franconia a few years ago and had a great time on an alpine slide that was nearby. Sorry, I don't remember exactly where, but your hotel should be able to direct you.
