storing baggage Penn station
 

Does anyon have the latest information about the possibility of storing luggage at Penn station for the day? From what I have found, this is no longer possible unless you have a pre-booked long distance rail ticket? Is this true? Does a ticket to JFK count?

You can store luggage only if you have an Amtrak ticket for that day - in the Amtrak area of the station.

To store luggage check with one of the nearby hotels to see if they'll hold it for you.

And, just to be clear, Amtrak does not go to JFK.

I think you may have to show a departing ticket.

Greenwich is a town in Connecticut. You'd get there on Metro North from Grand Central terminal. Greenwich VILLAGE is an area of NYC. In either case, unless you're continuing on from Penn station later in the day on AMTRAK train, you can not store luggage at Penn station.
