Still raining in Maui & Kauai?
 

We are leaving to go to Maui in 11 days and Kauai a week after that. I am getting really anxious. I just looked at the weather forecasts again and all it says is rain, rain, rain. Is it really raining that much? I looked at Honolulu and it was all sunny there. I just can't wait but I sure hope it isn't raining the whole time we are there.

South and east sides of Kaua`i got hammered with rain late yesterday afternoon; northshore had rain overnight -- but right now, it's just cloudy.

O`ahu is getting blasted with rain this morning -- flood warning is in effect until tomorrow there; Kaua`i is under a flash flood warning.

Weather is forecast to really begin clearing Sunday (yay!). You can check the doppler radar for the islands, here:

Auntiemaria - you've been very helpful to me/us in planning our trips. Is there anyway we can help you/your neighbors? I'm several months away from my trip to Kauai but there seems to be a steady stream of us headed your way and perhaps we could repay you for your many helpful replies??
