Still need recommendation for restaurant for lunch on Nantucket!
 

Posted a request for good restaurants for lunch on Nantucket in July - didn't get any responses! *sniff* Any ideas???

My favorite lunch is at the Wauwinet House. It's a bit pricey but so pretty & the view is great. Take a walk along the beach after lunch.

The Ropewalk is my favorite, especially for lunch. It's at the end of the main pier. Can't miss it...

"sniff"??? Anyone who's ever been to Nantucket will tell you a) there are magnificent places for lunch all over that you can just fall into by walking round and b) no one would ever, ever, recommend any on a public forum lest they never, ever, be able to acquire a table for all the folks lined up for them. "sniff"

well obviously maggie you're wrong - DID get some recommendations...thank you eman & kit. Didn't like the *sniff*, I take it? too bad *wink* My apologies to those who will now never, ever get a table at the places mentioned. (Methinks you overestimate the power of a public forum...get out much?)

Depends n. Do you want to stay in town? Do you want to eat inside or outside? Harbor view? really expensive of just moderately expensive? Will you have a car? Do you want a good wine list or doesn't it matter? Be a bit more specific and I can steer you in the right direction.

One of my favorites is Black Eyed Susan's. Great food, good price.
