Sterling silver on Oahu and the BI?

Hi,
DH and I are leaving next week for our 2 week Oahu and BI trip :) Last summer on Maui, I found some nice silver jewelry on Maui. I bought a few charms for my charm bracelet, a silver bracelet with etched Hawaiian flowers for my mother, etc...Can anyone recommend a nice affordable places for silver jewelery in either Waikiki, North Shore, or Kona? Thanks!

There is a silver store in Kona...and they also have a shop in the Marriot. I THINK its called the Silver Reef..I'll e-mail my girl friend and see if she remembers. I got some gorgous dolphin earrings with amythests in them..the solid shape...not hollow in the back..and also a dolphin necklace with the amythest. They have TONS of silver...alsmost overload. Prices are very reasonble. I'll make sure that it's in the Marriot..it's a quieter store...if you are walking around Kona you almost can't miss it.

Crefloors: Thank you so much! That is exactly the type of information I was hoping for!

OK..my girl friend mailed me back..the store IS called the Silver Reef so I was right about that. Also there IS one in Kona..can't tell you exactly where but in like a shopping center or an areas with a lot of shops, galleries etc. Bet someone there could tell you where it is. The one in the hotel was NOT the Marriott. She said it was ...and please if anyone can help me out here..my friend is HORRIBLE with hawaiian words..she said it was the King kuma ma or something like that. I paid absolutely NO attention when we went there so again maybe someone will recognize this "butchered" hotel name and be able to set it straight. Good luck and hope you find something special.

I think you're referring to the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, known locally as the "King Kam".

Thanks again -- I will definitely check out that store!
