4sammy - just in case you're checking this site while in Steamboat - I returned from a four-day visit yesterday.

My sister and I had a wonderful time. We rode the gondola, did a few short hikes (Fish Creek Falls, along the core river walk), but I think our most favorite place was Strawberry Park Hot Springs. It was just amazing - fun for the whole family. Be sure to bring water (in plastic containers) and towels. The drive up was partly on a gravel road, but nothing really daunting.
