Staying in Key West
Looking for recommendations for a hotel that may include snorkeling excursions as well. Preferably a beach side hotel with free meals.

Key West doesn't really have a lot of beachfront hotels like you may be thinking of. That being said, we ended up at the Casa Marina (http://www.casamarinaresort.com/) after booking through priceline and we were quite pleased. Not sure if they include excursions or meals, but it might be worth checking out.
Good luck and have a great trip :) |
I'm sure any guesthouse or hotel can hook you up w/the excursion of your choice. If not, most everything leaves from 0 Duval St. Most of the B & B's & guesthouses will include some type of breakfast. What you are looking for (essentially an AI in Key West), does not exist to my knowledge.

Key West only has two small beaches- the one at the Casa, which is man made and may not be swimmable, and the one at Fort Zach State Park. Neither is impressive in the least.
I don't think there are any all inclusives on the island at all. Have you looked at the other Keys or other parts of Florida? They might be closer to what you're looking for. Also, check the dates you're going to be there with the festival schedule- MOTM would be hell if you're not a Parrothead. |
We've stayed at the Casa marina several times and have been well-pleased. They actually have a little beach there. And they can hook you up w/ any activity. Go to their website and take the virtual tours.

We have stayed at the Wicker Guest House several times and loved it. On Duval, but far enough down to be away from the bulk of the noise.
