Staying in Hawaii for cheap
 

I am 18 and planning on going to Hawaii this summer with a few friends. Our problem is that we obviously don't have too much money. I could use any suggestions about where to stay that is not too expensive but that is not a dump either. There wiull be 3-4 of us so we can split rooms. Thanks.

We are not looking at any specific island. We would be happy anywhere as long as it is Hawaii.

I stayed at a hostel in Maui around 6 months ago and was happy with the cheap accomodations. I met lots of nice people and they offered fun daily escursions at very low prices. Back at the hostel, normally everyone pooled together and bought pizza, made pasta, or barbecued for the night.
