staying in college dorms during summer

Where do you want to go specifically? In the back of many travel books are places to stay which include college dorms. Go to any bookstore and look in the back of the books and you will see everything listed there.

Does anyone know of a particular publication or website geared to this request?

I have several friends and neighbors that go to Ricks College in Idaho and love it...lovely accomodations and area...several locations, I believe. For example, one friend is renting a six bedroom place for something like $1700 for three months.

Try the Let's Go series of travel books, put out by Harvard Student Agencies -- i.e. by students. They have a website (letsgo.com), too. Not in their employ, just find the books really useful, even for "grown-ups."

minx: We were thinking about staying at college dorms during this summer's vacation. Before we changed our vacation plans I was planning on buying the "Campus Lodging Guide". You might find it in your local book store. Their website is www.campus-lodging.com Their is a description of this guide at http://www.frommers.com/newsletters/.../article6.html

minx: I just went to www.campus-lodging.com and I noticed that they say the book is no longer available and won't be reprinted. They say to check the library. We did see the guide at one small bookstore. Sorry for giving out bad information!
