Husband has a business a short convention to attend in San Diego coming up very soon. We will stay on Bahia Resort Hotel on West Mission Bay Drive. Can you recommend a good restaurant nearby? Other than the zoo, what are some other very good/popular attractions? Time is limited. Thank you.

Baleen restaurant at the Paradise Point resort a couple of miles from the Bahia is wonderful..

If you love Sushi, Sushi Ota in Pacific Beach is considered the best Sushi restaurant in the State.. it is in a parking lot of a 7/11 but it is outstanding..5 minutes..
Lamont Street Grill in PB is really good too..5 minutes.
As far as things to do in SD, there are so many things to do but if you want to take a harbor boat ride around the bay, go whale watching, go the Birch Aquarium in LJ.. aquarium.ucsd.edu/
