Hi Carol,

My husband and I have stayed at Nemacolin twice, the last time being in June 1998. We absolutely love the resort! There's so much to do. (I learned how to ride a horse) Both times we stayed in the golf villas. They are 2 bedroom/2 1/2 bath townhouses with laundry facilites and full kitchen in each townhouse. They also have a nice deck and are pretty private. They built a new building, the chateau, the last time we were there. It looked kind of out of place-an opulent French chateau in the middle of the country, but it's very beautiful. I don't know what the guest rooms look like though.

The restaurants are very expensive with the exception of the one on the golf course, The Caddyshack. That's kind of moderate. We had breakfast one morning at the Golden Trout in the main lodge. I had pancakes and orange juice and my husband had a waffle and a coke and the bill was $24!!! I just think that's a little ridiculous. So the last time we went we brought breakfast stuff and ate in our villa.
As far as the golf goes, my husband loves the Mystic Rock course. (I don't play) He said they only way they would pair you with 2 other people is if it were REALLY

I have tons of brochures and stuff that I kept from both of our visits and I'd be happy to answer more questions. Just email me!
