Stay in Intercourse?

My husband and I will be attending an concert event at Hershey Park Stadium (PA)in on July 29th. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced, clean motel nearby where we could stay over on a Sunday and Monday night? How are hotel rates and availability affected by families vising Hershey Park? We would also like to visit Dutch country while we're in the area and could use some site and dining recommendations. Is Hershey near Intercourse? Thanks!

Can you ride the Hershey Highway all the way to Climax, Minnesota even if you're from Dildo, Newfoundland?

Wonder if they sell Viagra in PeePee Falls, Hawaii?

Afterwards you'll need to take a rest at Blue Ball, Indiana. That's just south of French Lick.

Well, who knows? You might find that you would enjoy Gay Head.

Jenna, We've stayed in the area a number of times.. usually right on rt.30 east Lancaster, Intercourse, Strasburg, and a host of other Dutch Country towns are in easy driving distance. I think Hershey is appox. 30 miles from this area,(easiest is take rt. 283 west towards Harrisburg, then t near Elizabethtown, there's a smaller road to Hershey,I think it's rt.949, but I'm not sure .. it's not hard to find). We've stayed at the Continental, which is next door to the Dutch Wonderland amusement park, there's also the Host Farm, and a number of other decent hotels .. traffic can be very heavy.. but we've enjoyed the area for years .. and it's an easy drive to Have'De Grace Maryland on the Chesepeake Bay,doen Rt. 846. My wife usually handles arrangements and I do the driving.. but we love the area for a get-away weekend.

Thanks for the information, Al.

Since your wife is the "planner," can you ask her how far in advance she thinks we should make our hotel hotel reservations? Also, how far from Hershey is the Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park? BTW, we will be heading to Ocean City, MD, from the Hershey area on 7/30. Thanks!

Jenna, re: reservations start NOW!!!, it's a very busy tourist area. Especially for weekends. if you are coming from o.c. md. you'll be traveling west .. so hit rt. 30 when you want to .. correction on rt. to Have'De Grace it's 896 not 846. Dutch Wonderland is nice but much smaller than Hershey Prak, distance wise to Hershey is going to depend which routes you take .. suggest you use Rt. 283 to harrisburg, and get off Near Elizabethtown Pa. which is about half way between Lancaster & Harrisburg...
E-town is something like 25 - 30 miles from Dutch Wonderland, Hershey is only 10 to 15 miles at the most from rt. 283. Hope this helps !!!!

The wife and I have been there a few times. She likes to linger, but I'm usually in and out in less than 10 minutes.
