we absolutely love California Pizza Kitchen off Nobel Drive up near UCSD/Va Hospital area. (Slightly east of downtown La Jolla Area and west of UTC).
It is extremely popular so get their early! or go a little on the late at night side!
There is also a California Pizza Kitchen in Fashion Valley Shopping Mall upstairs.

Is Bronx Pizza close? I'm not sure how close it is,but I love that place. Also, delicious Phil's BBQ is close by, too.

i think the bronx pizza is across from the golf course on friars road.

YES! Bikom -- Phil's BBQ is wonderful! They have two locations - the first is in Hillcrest off Washington and I think Goldfinch. and their new location is in Point Loma near Rosecrans Street (I think it is very near the Sports Arena).

nanabee,I wasn't aware Phils had a new location, makes me want take a road trip down there right now! The Bronx Pizza I know is just a few blocks away from the Goldfinch Phil's,maybe Bronx Pizza has more than 1 location as well. I'm still unaware how convenient it is for the OP,but they are both good places to eat if they have a car.

Yes, I was confusing the two pizza places. You're right the Bronx Pizza is on Washington between First & Third!
Will have to try it out myself.
