Star of Honolulu Cruise

Hi all. I am planning to get married on Oahu next summer and wanted to know if anyone has even been on the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise. We are looking for a nice place for our reception to follow our beach ceremony (any suggestions as to a nice, quiet spot are welcome) We hear it is very nice but we are in NY and are going off of pictures one the web. Thanks in advance!

I think the Navatek is the only other dinner cruise and it is more of a entertainment type cruise. The upstairs is a better class of service supposedly. dowbstairs was not that great(but where else can you see Elvis?).SOH looks better.

Friend who lives on the island told me and I realize this is all hear say but friend said that pretty much all of dinner boats are all big party boats. If that is your cup of tea then go for it. From her words I imagine plastic leis and beer drinking contests.

If you go to Entertainment.com and check out he Hawaii Entertainment Book you will see in the book several private charter companies that will probably cost you the same as one of those mentioned.

Just returned from 2 weeks in hawaii. Took Alii Kai Catamaran Dinner Cruise off Honolulu ... opt for one of specialty dinners and you'll be on quieter 2nd deck dining. Very nice atmosphere and conducive to reception.
