Star Gazing in NYC

I'm going to NYC this next weekend and want to see some celebraties!! Where's the best place to people watch?

Definitely do not go to any of the theme restaurants.
Star gazing can get quite pricey and hard to come by.
Great restaurants where celebrities frequent include
Nobu, Harry Cipriani, Le Cirque 2000, etc. You'll be
lucky to get a reservation in such short notice. Other-
wise just keep a look out for premiers or stay in the
upper east side of Manhattan where lots of people live.

Just keep your eyes OPEN. They are everywhere, you just have to be good and quick at recognizing faces - especially Upper Westside and the Village or SoHo on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. But in the summer many NYers are at the Hamptons. You can wait outside Broadway theatre stage doors or TV studio doors if you know a particular person is there that you want to see.

At Le Cirque you will have the best meal in the City as well as possible star gazing.

When we were in New York in June Barbara Walters was celebrating her birthday at the table next to us.

It is very hard to get dinner reservations but lunch is fairly easy.

Also, you might take a walk down 5th Ave.

Just keep your eyes open- I go to NYC about 3 times a year and always see several celebrities. Examples: saw Joan Lunden furniture shopping, Yoko Ono walking down Park Ave and Jody Foster was in line in front of me at Musseum of Modern Art. When the theatres let out there are always celebs out getting in cars, taxis and just walking down the street.
