Standard Hotel in Downtown LA
 

Does anyone know what the website is to this new hotel? I've tried searching for it without any luck. I've heard that it's a fun hip new hotel, but would like to see their website before booking for an upcoming business trip. Has anyone tried their restaurant? What price range does the menu fall under? Thank you.

I just typed in Standard Hotel Downtown and voila there it was (used Google).

M.,<BR>I don't like this part of downtown. The Convention Center/Staples center area is really ugly and not near anything that interests me ( the theatres, mainly). Although far more dignified than hip ( that the Standard is and do like their design) you might want to look into Checkers (small and elegant)or the Biltmore ( big , old, grand).<BR><BR>Where is your business taking you? as there is a Standard in West Hollywood right on Sunset.<BR><BR>M. with one "l" also

Don't feel bad, I tried typing in Standard Hotel Downtown on Google and had no luck getting directly to a website for this particular hotel. Nothing where I could find photos of the hotel or information on the restaurant. Not sure why other people would be able to get it. Can someone share the direct website with the rest of us?

A little "Internet 101" for you:<BR><BR>try typing "Standard Hotel" rather than Standard Hotel. Adding the quotation marks narrows the search to that specific term and not anything with the words standard and hotel in it.<BR><BR>I did and the website (www.standardhotel.com) popped up. <BR><BR>Also, if all else fails, just type the name of the business plus ".com" and it often works!

That's a great website address if we were all looking for the Hollywood location, but everyone here is asking specifically for the new downtown LA location!

The Downtown Standard is not particular close to Staples Center/Convention Center. It's about 1-2 blocks SW of the Wyndham Checkers and Biltmore hotels.<BR><BR>www.standardhotel.com is the website for both the Hollywood and Downtown locations, although most of the info is on the Hollywood property. Click on the black dot and you can chose the Downtown location.
