Stairway to walk Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn

Jump to last reply

On my visit, I want to take the subway to the closest spot to walk the Promenade. The map looks like "CLARK". Is that correct?

Wondering how I get to the Promenade after I get off the subway...are there signs? Do you see it?

Then I want to walk to DUMBO. Is that too far to walk? Anyone suggest a route?

Then I want to walk the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan. How do I find the stairs to bridge?

I have googled till I can't stand it anymore, bought two maps, 1 guidebook and sat in Barnes and Noble for an hour trying to get an exact answer to these questions.

If anyone can shed some light on this question, please help!
