St. louis - Fodors Get-Together Planned
 

One of our special Fodors' freinds ,Marilyn Freund ,will be in town visiting next month.

While she is here we would love to meet other fodorites from the St. Louis area.
We have scheduled a Get together for Monday October 11 at 6:30 or 7pm at BarCelona's(fun Tapas restaurant) in Clayton.
It is located on Central Avenue off Maryland Ave.

Hey, I'm a native (away only a couple of years now to Memphis). I'm up all the time as my family is still there but darn it, I can't make this one. We head for Budapest and points beyond shortly thereafter, so work just has to get done before we go. I'm very sorry to miss it though and miss meeting everyone! Have fun for us.

Unfortunately it's a bit too much of a commute from Toronto, but I'll be thinking of you! Of course that's also Canadian Thanksgiving, so I'll be thinking about you and pumpkin pie at the same time. :)

Sorry to contribute to the hijacking, but - to answer your question - yes, we do exactly the same sorts of stuff in October that you folks do in November. In fact, my family often celebrates on the American date instead, because my daughter in New York is able to get some time off to come and celebrate with us. We do turkey and pumpkin pie and all the rest - a very big deal, but lots of fun. :)

I'm so jealous of your reunion. I'm a Washington Univ alum and I"m dying to get back there! So many great restaurants to try...of course when I was there on a student's budget all I could afford was Ted Drewes and Naugles! You'll have to post a report afterwards! Have fun!

I'm going to be in NYC for a few days starting Oct. 21, visiting my youngest grandbaby. You could always stop by there on your way home. :)

Ah, I would love to Meesthare, but I'm going to be back on the East Coast in early November. We'll meet someday!
