Aloohaa,
Martini House restaurant in St Helena is pretty nice. It's been our "special occasion" restaurant. If you're going during the summer months, some nice outside dining. Kal |
We stayed at the Vineyard Country Inn a couple of years ago during a long Thanksgiving weekend and were very pleased. In addition to a large bedroom and bathroom, our accomodations included a sitting room with a fireplace, wet bar and small refrigerator, and this was a relaxing place to hang out each night after a full day of winetasting. While this is not a luxury inn, we found it to be spacious and comfortable and well-priced. Although the location is near Hwy. 29, it was very quiet and our bedroom (with small balcony) overlooked a lovely neighboring property. All in all, this inn compares very favorably with other places that we have stayed in in both Napa and Sonoma.

We stayed there last Spring . . stopped for one nite and liked it enough that we stayed two. Would stay there again. Rich |
Martini House is our favorite for dinner too. We really enjoyed Gordon's for breakfast. It is the best we have found in our search for GREAT breakfast.((*))
