Has anyone visited Spring Lake, NJ? Recommendations for accommodations, restaurants, etc.?

Thanks.

Whispers for a great dinner. You may want to check out the Parker House in Sea Girt as its a great place to eat outside.
Can't help you with places to stay as the Breakers has gone down hill. Your best bet is to check out the B and B's on trip advisor.

This is a nice place to stay:

For dinner go to nearby Brielle to the Shipwreck Grill for wonderful food.

For excellent Thomas Sweet Ice Cream go to The Blarney Cone on Morris Ave.

The Grand Victorian, right beside the Breakers, has cute rooms and I have good things about it's restaurant.

How long has the Blarney Cone been there?

I like Rod's in Sea Girt, a five minute ride away. It's a good bar with fairly decent pub type food. It tends to be a bit of an older crowd and by that I mean an average age above 30.

I like the Parker House. But, if you're over the age of 30 and you're thinking about a Saturday night, that may not be the best spot. It can be a bit of a scene on the weekends. Scenes can be fine, but it isn't for everyone.

If you're willing to drive ten to 15 minutes away, Wharfside and Jack Baker's in Pt. Pleasant are both right on the river and be really nice on a beatiful day. It isn't 5-star dining, but the outdoor deck is nice and they do a good job with the basics like lobster, clams, etc.

Andrew8, I think the Blarney Cone's been there about two or three years. It's open summers only.

Thanks SusieQ!

My wife and I love the Parker House Ryan.
