Spokane Washington
We will be visiting a frail friend in Spokane, arriving early in the morning one day and departing the next evening. We would like to have several (wheelchair accesible) places to sight see, a couple of good restaurants - we all have eclectic tastes in food. She lived in Japan for several years, and also loves authentic Mexican food so if there is a very good Japanese or authentic Mexican restaurant in Spokane, please let me know.
Finally, any recomendations for a couple to stay overnight in Spokane (could be a hotel, or a B+B)? Thanks in advance, Tia |
I'm making my first trip to Spokane over the Memorial Day weekend, so I'll be interested in reading what recommendations other write for you as well.
One resource I have been reading on the web is the following Spokane-based food blog. Check out the forums for some good local ideas: http://www.tasteeverythingonce.com/ Sorry, tried to make it into a link for you, but was unsuccessful. You'll have to cut and paste it. |
Stay at the Davenport. It's a Spokane landmark and stunning property.
Last time I was there, we went to the Steamplant Grill downtown. Food was good, setting was very unique (in a good way) and atmosphere was casual. I'd go again. |
ditto-I was just going to mention the Steamplant Grill..it was interesting and the food was good, enjoy !

Thanks, all! Tia
