Spirit Airlines - How Are They?

I am trying to find out more about Spirit Airlines who fly direct between Cleveland and Atlantic City. Are they owned by Comair? How is their performance?

Spirit has been flying for many years between Atlantic City and a few locations in Florida.
They fly out and into Atlantic City International
Airport which is about 12 miles west of A.C. I've
known many people who have used them, including my in-laws who flew them between Orlando and A.C.I
believe that the service between Cleveland and A.C.
just started or will start soon.

ED

Go to SpiritAir.com and click on Route Map. They fly all over the US. Great no frills airline and I've flown them several times. Also, they gave away over 10,000 flights on September 11th.

Spirit doesn't really fly "all over the U.S." They do have routes from coast-to-coast but they only fly to 20 or so cities.

Frank-Comair is owned by Delta Airlines. Spirit is just another start up airline with low costs-mainly DC9's I believe?
