Spiderman Update
 

There has been yet another injury to a member of the Spiderman cast - an actress who will be out of the show for several weeks to recover.

Separately, the show must be losing business for it's ever-continuing "previews". They are now advertising heavily on local media, including in-cab TV, with a focus on the Bono/Edge music. Looks like people are finally catching on that there are major issues with the show.

The "opening" date is now scheduled for mid June.

Actually, business is still good for the show, as it continues to play close to capacity, grossing over $1.4 million last week!
Coincidentally, the latest injury was to the performer playing the same role as the woman who was injured earlier this year and left the show.

and the COSTS per week are??????

I believe I read somewhere that the weekly nut was around $1 million.

I think they are masters of chutzpah to charge full price for something that is still nowhere near ready - and may never be - and then there are the awful reviews.
