Spiderman comes to Broadway
 

Can you believe it? The latest source for a Broadway musical is Spiderman, being developed without an opening date set. According to the New York Times: "Marvel Studios confirmed plans for the musical, which will be directed by Julie Taymor and have music and lyrics provided by Bono and the Edge of the band U2."

Yes. why surprised?

Hopefully, it'll turn out better on the stage than Tarzan did!

Whatever happened to the rumor that Young Frankenstein was coming to Broadway?

Young Frankenstein seems to be moving full steam ahead. Megan Mullaly will be playing the Madeline Kahn role:

The cast also features several other great musical theatre performers, including Sutton Foster, Shuler Hensley, Roger Bart and Andrea Martin.

I'm so excited to see Young Frankenstein I might even pay full price!

I am sure I will be seeing it at least 6 times. sigh. My husband can quote the movie line by line. He is foaming at the mouth already.
