Wonderful photos, especially the two of the complete rainbows.

This is truly amazing! After looking at your pictures, who else would dare to post theirs, sigh...

The colors are unbelievable!

Hey, those are great pictures! I've never managed to get any good rainbow shots myself. We have rainbows in Portland sometimes but I can never drive quickly enough to a good location to photograph them before they're gone! Very frustrating.

I did get some decent shots of the Astoria-Megler Bridge (mouth of the Columbia River between Oregon and Washington) at sunset last weekend:

The light changes so quickly sometimes that you really have to move fast to shoot these! A few minutes before or after and the pictures just weren't the same. I really wanted to get the sunset from several different locations, but with the tripod and camera bag it's just not pratical to move that quickly...

Howard,
These are so great..I sent this site on to friends and family..Thanks for posting it ~
Andrew,
On the way home from the wine area here in Portland, on 99...we saw a huge rainbow sitting on the trees ahead of us :)
We jumped out of the car on the side of the road, we took pics through the windshield...it was impossible to get a really good photo of that rainbow..
Frustrating!!
