Spa's in Las Vegas

Can anyone recommend a Spa on the Strip that has good service, that isnt pretentious and snooty?

Armani_Rugpilot Dec 27th, 2007 02:56 PM

Too many qualifiers. Good svc, snooty, pretentious. Pick two.

dandj Dec 27th, 2007 03:20 PM

if the service is good I can stand a tidbit of snootiness :)

TTess Dec 27th, 2007 04:47 PM

"Spa's" what? Towels? Atmosphere? Massage therapist?

Hey, snootie is great. Give me snootie or give me nuthin.

All the large hotels on the strips have nice spas. If money is no object, try Caesars or Wynn

I've only done the Mandalay and the Venetian spas, but I really liked the Venetian! The Mandalay staff was definitely snooty, and therefore I felt like I was not getting any service. The Venetian staff, however, was very nice and helpful.

While I wouldn't recommend staying there, I had a Wonderful spa experience at Harrahs. I had a facial, manicure, pedicure and haircut, and then they decided since I was going to see Barry at the Hilton (Manilow of course), That I needed some makeup, and they put on a full makeup job for free. In fact, I am going back for a manicure, pedicure and haircut in February. The total price, quoted on the phone was $159.

SkaiSW,
wow $159.00 for all of that. I will call them. We are going to Vegas end of Feb.

MelissaHI,
What services did you have? If you dont mind, please share the cost.

thanks so much

SiteC_er,
If I hit the big one I will go to the Wynn AND Caesars !!!

MelissaHI Dec 28th, 2007 06:41 AM

Uh oh. I gotta be honest, I don't remember the costs. The Venetian had 2 passes anyway as part of a package. Oops!

At both hotels, I used their workout facilities. My sister in law even took a nutrition class at the Venetian. We had our mom get a manicure & pedicure, and they took good care of her.

I had good experiences at Caesers and Luxor....

SkaiSW Dec 28th, 2007 10:03 AM

So there is no misunderstanding, the $159. at Harrahs is just for the manicure, pedicure and haircut.

I like the Canyon Ranch at Ventian and enjoyed Belligos but that was years ago and I believe they redid their spa since then...

The spa at the Bellagio has been completely renovated a few years ago. It is beautiful. I have been there many times and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There are some customers that are snooty are pretentious. Depending on what treatments you choose, it can get costly, but sooooo worth it. I will be there nest week - all treatments are booked - can't wait.

That is another tip. No matter where you spa, amke sure to reserve well in advance as they book up quickly. You can find spa treatments and prices on the websites. When you call for your reservations, the desk will also help you.

There are many great spas in vegas. I love the canyon ranch spa in the venetian. Hands down the best massage ive ever had was at the four seasons. Their spa is on the smaller side, which i prefer, and it feels less like a 'factory'. Have fun!

I had a massage at Bally's a few years ago and the price was great for the service.

I have had a great massage at the Paris spa. Also, I loved that the spa at the Luxor was open 24 hours. I just stayed up all night before our 6am flight and got a massage at 3am!
