Check the classified ads of your newspaper. In Dallas, there are several travel agencies that purchase SW tickets.

I usually purchase my SWA on the internet at their web site because if i purchase 4 RT I get a free RT anywhere they fly. Have also purchased at the airport desk. You canalso purchase over the phone. I have done that for my daughter with my credit card and she pays me in cash. Works for us...

retired,

The reason why people buy reward tickets instead of direct through Southwest is to save money.

They are useful when all the discount tickets are gone and the only fares available are the $600 full fare.

Unlike most airlines Southwest REward tickets are not capacity controlled. As long as there is a seat available, regardless of price, you can use an award ticket( except during the few blackout days)

Since the vouchers are transferrable, people can buy tickets on Ebay for $275-300 or so and save half.
