South/southwst Road Trip

(My apologies if this is a double post, I tried it 45 minutes ago and it deosn't appear to have shown up. )

My fiance and are planning a road trip sometime next jan/feb. We want something within a 10 hour or so drive (we are in Dallas). We are considering Birmingham, Memphis, Nashville, Albequerqe, and Little Rock.

Which would you choose and why? Or do you have a better idea that we haven't consdidered. All input is greatly appreciated.

I've been to Memphis, Nashville, and Albuquerque. I'd pick Santa Fe and Taos, there's nothing in Albuquerque. Memphis was interesting and so was Nashville but Santa Fe and Taos are world-class.

Have you been there?

No we have never been to any of those cities so we were just looking to go somewhere new. I'll look into Taos and Santa Fe, thank you for the suggestions.

Beautiful 69,000 acre lake in North Alabama! Lots of lodging options. Choose a secluded lakeside cabin at the Lake Guntersville State Park or a nice hotel overlooking the water! Boat rentals, swimming, fishing, Martini Bar, fine dining etc...
