In the end, 3 of us made it (and the rest of you missed a really, REALLY yummy lunch - including a surprisingly good chocolate/red dessert wine)

Only 3!! Too bad more couldn't make it. How was Kalani? I thought about you guys yesterday afternoon while I was running my DD around Sacramento. Put 150 miles on my car in 2 1/2 hours.

Kalani's was very good -- and we had a wonderful (can I say CUTE) waiter who took special care of us. ;)

You put 150 miles on the car around town, I put just a little over that driving up to Tahoe and back.

I had thought of that too - I could have driven up for lunch!!

I was there in "spirits".

i'm glad it was good. i forgot all about it, my husband and i were at north shore looking at condo. it was last minute thing

Well in this case three isn't a crowd! I'm glad lunch was special and at least you three enjoyed Tahoe and one another's company. Sorry we didn't make it!
