south lake tahoe

do you have to dress up or are jeans and a dressy top or sweater okay for Sage Room and Friday's Station and 19 Kitchen?
We are going next week---any suggestions? We are taking a Harrahs charter and staying at Harrahs. Is there a Diamond room?
Thank you for any help

Try posting this on the Colorado site!

Not sure what that means, since South Lake Tahoe is in California not Colorado. Anyway, I've found that the tags are pretty much universally ignored, so not sure you'll get more responses by reposting in "California".

Virtually no restaurant in California has a dress code, even less so in resort areas.

Have eaten at Friday's Station and 19 Kitchen and you can but do not need to dress up. A nice pair of jeans and smart top will be fine. Not sure about the Sage Room - that is a little more formal. If you like Asian food - there is a very good Asian restaurant at Harrahs called Gi Fu Loh. It is gourmet Chinese and fairly expensive but excellent.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe does have a Diamond Lounge. It is off the casino floor by the high limit slots. It is a nice room, failry small - don't expect much food wise. You have to use your Diamond Card to enter so you should get it activated at the desk which is near the lounge entrance.

Is this your first time to Lake Tahoe? Harrah's is a very nice property. I suggest that you do the Lake cruise. Harrah's has their own boat. I believe Diamond members can get free tickets (or maybe it was buy one get one free). It takes you around the lake to Emerald Bay with a guide who explains the history of the area. Really pretty.
