Y'all ;-) are cordially invited to attend a fun gathering on Sat. March 5 at 3:00PM in Pomapano Beach(just N, of FLL) for ALL travel loving Fodorites to have vino, beer, snacks and food...and of course some wonderful company. PLease join us!

We are leaving for Paris the morning of the 6th and we are too far from FLL.

Shucks, Scarlett. I was excited about the possibility of meeting you. Sorry we missed on the date. how about others on this board who can make it? We'd sure like to see you and talk travel. The gathering we had in Naples last year was great fun.

Count me in, I think. I have a lot of model homes installing in the next 3 months but I think I deserve a weekend at least. Patrick told me about this event. I think a spa morning at Harbour Beach and off the the Fodor event. Hopefully I can work out the details. LilMsFoodie

This is Julie Vikmanis posting from my daughter's computer. LilMsFoodie, so glad you may be able to join us. Enjoyed meeting you at last year's Naples GTG. Beachbarbie, I've volunteered to host it at my condo on Lake Santa Barbara on the intracoastal. We're just south of Atlantic Blvd on US 1/Federal Hwy. E-mail me for actual address and directions. I've promised chili and muffalettas. Others have offered to bring libations and chips, snacks, etc. Budman can't make it but has promised to send a couple of bottles of his private label so we'll have a tasting. Hope you can come and bring fellow fodorites from your neck of the SoFL woods.

andy, sorry but some people have already made lodging and entertainment reservations, so the date is a definite. Hope others who will be in the area on that date (March 5 at 3 p.m.) can work us into their plans.

I think I'll be in Palm Beach that weekend but I can drive down.
