Other than sanibel, which south florida towns allow dogs leashed on the beach?

Well, when we owned a condo in Naples, dogs were NOT allowed on the beach, so that is at least some negative information. On the whole, SW Florida beaches were less dog-friendly, in season, than many people are used to in other parts of the country.

Jupiter has a nice section of beach where dogs are allowed.

Ft.Lauderdale has a section of beach around Sunrise Blvd allocated to dogs on Sunday afternoon.

Hollywood Beach has a dog beach on Fri, Sat and Sun. from 4 -7 pm. Dogs can be off leash to run and swim. The dog beach is limited to a couple of blocks on the north end of the beach & there is a nominal charge. There are cones set up at each end of the dog beach. My dog loves it!

I do not need a let em run free situation. We just like them to sit with us on the beach. Or walk them on leash.
