South Beach Questions: what/where is Vizcaya. Are there any museums or art galleries in south beach
I'll have a full day in south beach before the husband arrives and museums and art galleries are not his thing. Since I'm not familiar with this area, would appreciate any help.

also, someone had posted that they wanted to go to vizcaya... what is it?

It is Flager's mansion and gardens on the water. Impressive. It is in Coral Gables.

Is it within walking distance of south beach...or do I need a car?

Vizcaya is wonderful. Don't miss it.

A very interesting museum in South Beach is the Wolfsonian http://www.wolfsonian.org/visitus/index.html
