South Beach: best hotel with best beach?

Hi! We're interested in staying in South Beach. We'd like an adult hotel that has a good oceanfront view, and its own private beach. Can you recommend anything?

I'd also be interested in hearing which hotel has the best pool in South Beach.

We don't want to spend more than $275 a night.

thanks,

me.

Try the Fountainbleau Hilton Resort.

Right on the beach, nice pools, decent food.

You might want to check out the Loews.

I used to live in South Beach and just returned from a convention there as well.

The Delano and the National definitely have the best pools and beach area (with all the services) on South Beach. Fountaineblue is a bit too far North - not really walking distance to anything. The beaches really won't be private but these select hotels have their own areas that only their guests can enjoy with plush beach lounges, massages, etc.

Depending on what time of you you go, you will be able to get the $275 rate. My personal opinion is the Loews is more of a convention hotel.
