South Beach bachelorette
I'll be with a group of five mid- to late-twenties women for a bachelorette party in South Beach in July. We're staying at the Courtyard Marriott on Washington between 15th and 16th. The bride would like to go to a drag show, rent a boat, and go dancing. I would love any recommendations for any of these activities, as well as any favorite restaurants you might have. We'll be renting a car, but will probably be taking cabs in the evenings, so ideas within walking OR driving distance would be great. Thank you!

China Grill is great for a big loud table of food sharing...
|
Thanks for the tip on China Grill- we will definitely look into that! Any other suggestions, anyone?
|
Good restaurant is Nobu. Very trendy and is the place to people watch. Good sushi.

bride wants a drag show? huh? that's one weird bride you've got. Isnt SOBE a topless beach? why dont you girls just run around topless then?!
|
Thanks for the Nobu rec, JillDavis! I've been to and loved the one on the UWS in New York, but didn't realize there was one in Miami, too. Will definitely look into that!
POMAH, I doubt you were actually trying to be helpful, but thanks for the input anyway. |

I have not been to any of these, but would suggest the Funkshion Lounge location just because it will get your group over to Lincoln Road (excellent shopping, dining, cafes, bars, etc.) - a great area of South Beach, not to be missed. |
Just realized you are staying 1 block from Lincoln Road Mall. Well, that's even better. Just walk down Lincoln the length of the Mall until you hit the Lounge.
