Sourdough Mining Co. in Anchorage has very good food/seafood in "old mine" atmosphere. I highly recommend it. The other restaurant where we had good seafood was the "Sea Galley". Neither are walking distance to most hotels.

Would you recommend going to Sourdough mining Co. for lunch or dinner?

I go here every trip. The fritters are just excellent and so is their halibut. Reasonable prices. But it can be over run with bus tours, so I generally go at "off" times. Take a walk across the street to the Wild Berry store, great products!!

GREAT Restaurant. We ate lunch there yesterday. The lunch prices were very reasonable $9-12.00 for adults and the kids are only $6.00 which includes a drink and a good choice of food. This price also includes an ice cream bar with lots of fun toppings. My husband had the blackened salmon which was excellent and I had the halibut nuggets that were good too. It is a neat restaurant to eat in with lots of fun stuff to see.
