Sorry, but another dolphin question...
Which is a better program to attend?
a) Discovery Cove
b) Theatre of the Sea
c) Dolphin Research Centre

Thanks
where are these places?????
in florida
Melissa - I loved Discovery Cove because you could stay there the whole day and enjoy the other pools and animals and their lunch was delicious. Also as I remember you get a free Sea World pass for 5 days.
Leave the poor dolphins alone.
Which is better? None of them, they all exploit dolphins...
Discovery Cove by far... you can swim with the dolphins.
c.

Seemed more like a 'research center' than tourist attraction and appeared to be very well run. (Key words: 'seemed', 'appeared'.) Keep in mind that you may need an appointment. Call ahead.

And be ready for the anti-swim w/ dolphin brigade which will no doubt have something to say before long.
Melissa,

DRC is the only one that is not for profit and not an attraction but a facitlity for research and medical care. I highly recommend them. Was there in Feb, I'll try to find my post and top it for you.
Hey Melissa, let's pen you up and charge people to swim with you all day long and see how you like it!

The guy who owned Mitzi (a.k.a. Flipper) originally ran his facility 40 years ago out of a sterotypical beach hut. It was MUCH cheaper to swim with the original "Flipper" then too.
