Sonoma B&B recs?
 

my husband and I are going to Sonoma for 2 1/2 days Nov. 8-10. any recommendations for B&Bs in Sonoma? has anyone stayed at Trojan Horse Inn or Thistle Dew Inn? what about Glenelly or Glen Ellen Inn in Glen Ellen? Thanks for any help!

Message: I stayed at a super B&B called Sonoma Chalet with cozy private cottages with fireplaces. It was on the edge of town but felt like the countryside. They have bikes you can ride into town. I've seen the Thistle Dew and this is much more charming.

any other suggestions?? still wondering about the Trojan Horse Inn.

Back in '99 we stayed in Healdsburg at the Camellia Inn which was absolutely delightful. I loved the B&B and being able to walk around that cute little town. There are also a number of wonderful restaurants there, too. :) hmmmm it must be about time to head back!

Only went past the Trojan Horse Inn and it looked pretty shabby and right along the road.

I stayed at the Trojan House Inn last June and it was a classic B&B -- definitely not shabby. The proprietors were wonderful people, breakfast was excellent, and our room was very nice (big bathroom). I would and probably will stay there again.

I know this post is old, but we just returned from the Wine Country and stayed at the Trojan Horse Inn. It has been completely redone and a new young couple from the NYC area now owns and runs it. It is a beautiful place with amazingly good breakfasts. We asked for every recipe they made us. If you want a really nice, romantic, and special place, check them out. There are also great reviews of them on Tripadvisor.com. This is now the place we will stay for our annual wine country trips.
