Somewhere in the U.S. to spend Christmas.

Please I'm looking for suggestions on places where my family(husband and 3 young adults in their early 20's) can spend Christmas week in the U.S. We currently live between New York and Atlanta and would prefer to go somewhere warmer and away from home.

We would prefer not to visit the carribean again this year. Any suggestions will be helpful.
I just checked expedia for New Orleans. You can find rooms at the Meridien ranging from 74.00 to a little over 100.00/night during Christmas week.
I also found some reasonable rates around Tampa, FL, including house rentals on various websites. Good luck!
