Hey.. you never know when you just might need a light bulb. I was thinking that perhaps a black light might make your stay...say...more interesting. Perhaps you could bring one of those nifty 70's black light rock posters (remember them?)?
|
Now Michelle, you know you are supposed to bring glow-in-the-dark body paint for the black light. |
I guess I would add if the hotel won't fix it leave or never return.
Does not get any simpler than that. |
Sarah, no, not just leave it! Go to TripAdvisor and post! So others will be warned.

About 95% of my travel is for work and I have stayed at my share of Super 8's, Comforts and Red Roofs in my life. About 150-175 nights a year.
I DO carry my own alarm clock. I do not rely on a wake up call or the clock radio in the room since I am working and need to be up on time. It's a small clock that uses a single AAA battery (which i havent replaced in about a year and a half..hmmm...) and fits in my computer bag nicely. My sheets sometimes become untucked at home too and if I knew anyone who would do something about it I'd complain. Never felt the need to carry a light bulb or drain plug with me. If your travelling by auto it's a good idea to have a flashlight in your vehicle anyway. I can live a day or so with nondescript coffee so never brought my own. I see people vacationing who bring their own pillows - especially children so to each his own. My pet peeve is at the desk checking in when the clerk continually stops to answer the phone. I wait til the second time and simply say "Don't answer that til we're done". |
GoT, you're right (re: paint) but where would I fit it? What with my pillow, sheets, clock, tv, kitchen sink, etc. there really isn't any more room in my luggage.

P.S. uh... :-!
