Sofitel/Manhattan
 

Has anyone stayed at Sofitel (NY) recently?<BR>Two females (Mom/daughter) sharing a 'premiere' room. We will be seeing a play, spend the night and I'll return home the next day. Is room rate (via Playbill) @189/night a reasonable price? Input appreciated both pro/con.<BR>Thanks!

Elaine, you got a very good rate. The Sofitel has a great rep, many here have stayed there. It's a great location and well-run. You picked a very nice place to stay, you and your daughter will be pleased I think. Have fun!

The rate is good. I had a stay at the Sofitel and will never stay anywhere else in Manhattan from here on out...<BR><BR>Have a great time!!

Agree with the above poster - the new Sofitel in NYC is the ONLY place to stay - its wonderful!!!<BR><BR>Have a GREAT time (and get a suite on a high floor for a good view of the Chrysler building)
