It's not new or elegant.
It's older and is a decent business class hotel.
Its location is very convenient.
If you're there for business and you don't usually stay at the Ritz, you'll likely be fine with it.

We have stayed at Hotel Sofitel many times and have always been very pleased with our stays. The employees are always very attentive and the restaurants are very good. The hotel is not new but it is kept up and a nice place.

thanks! it's not that I usually stay at the Ritz, but if there is something "better" in the same general vicinity, let me know. Thanks!

It is our favorite on the west side of Mpls. The location is good too. Most other hotels are just the typical chains and Sofitel's restaurants are much better.
