So. Calif GTG - Including SD and LA
 

I would love to have a GTG for either San Diego fodorites or maybe have it in Orange County so people from both SD and LA can attend. I am willing to plan the event but wanted to get everyone's feedback. It would have to be after Easter - probably sometime in April or beginning of May. Let me know who would be interested in attending.

I'd love to attend. I'm in the very northern reaches of LA... Will probably be in San Diego the weekend of April 16th (busy during the day, nights free). Can easily do Orange county area as we have family there to crash with.

Thanks for everyone who replied so far. I guess before we try to set up a definite time - I was trying to find out if we should do one So. Cal GTG or do two - one for LA and one for SD. Since I live in San Diego County but spend a lot of time in OC and LA areas, I would love to meet everyone but don't know how far people will drive for a GTG.

paula, given a choice, I'd prefer in San Diego as it's difficult for me to be too far from home.

Barbara - If we did a Saturday afternoon in Orange county would that work for you?

I am bringing this to the top for the LA fodorites. rjw and others - where are you? Seems like not too many interested in meeting others in So. Cal. I still would like to plan this so may just have to do San Diego area.

Paula, maybe you should post this on the Europe board too.

I live in OC and love this forum, and all the regular posters. In fact, I consider fodors forums a "mini vacation" from the rest of my day!
Unfortunately I don't have the time in my "real" life to schedule anything else!
But kudos to you Paula for trying to schedule a GTG! Hope it works out~! Be with you in spirit!
