Snow in Cloudcroft i March

Hello all (primarily residents of Southern NM), I'm planning a Spring Break trip with the family in March 2017 to the Ruidoso/Cloudcroft area. We were there once over New Years and had decent snow in the mountains. Question is: What are the chances of snow still on the ground (or even fresh snow!) in mid to late March? Especially for Cloudcroft and the sledding area south of town on the way to Sunspot. I'm guessing pretty low, but throw out a percentage chance if you live in the area or have been in March before. Thanks in advance.

This site gives averages

Of course "average" means nothing about any particular year.

Thanks, emalloy. Yes I had reviewed that site as well, but it only tells about snowfall, not snow on the ground, and it only has Ruidoso and not Cloudcroft (though I suspect they will be similar). I'm hoping for a bit more personal experience.
