Snorkelling in Hawaii
Any suggestions for great snorkelling places in Hawaii. Also any help on 5* accommodation would be much appreciated.

Here's a useful site for snorkeling on all of the Hawaiian Islands.
http://www.snorkeling-hawaii-insider...com/index.html Sorry can't help with accommodations on most of the Islands. It would be helpful to know which Islands you are visiting. The Princeville Hotel Resort and Hanalei Bay Resort on Kauai are very nice. ((b)) |
depends on what island you are going to. I suggest a series of guide books that you can review at wizardpub.com

Kapalua Bay Hotel on Maui (until they close in 6 mos. to make way for a new development). Fine, natural setting hotel right on a pretty reef-protected snorkeling beach. I have photos.

DebDale,
It depends on what island(s) you are planning on visiting and what time of year as on some islands water conditions vary from "winter" to "summer". Honuloa Bay on Maui Kapalua Bay on Maui Makua (Tunnels) Beach on Kaua`i (summer only) Hanauma Bay on Oahu Sharks Cove on Oahu (summer only) Kealakekua Bay on BI Areas around Puako on BI Pick up a few guide books and do some more web surfing. Check out tripadvisor.com for a place to start with hotels. The reviews are not always accurate, but it a great resource to see most of the hotels in an area listed in one spot. -Bill |
Some places we've enjoyed are:
Big Island: Hapuna Beach, Captain Cook monument at Keal. Bay Maui: Black Rock, Kapalua, Honolua Bay, Molokini Oahu: Shark's Cove, Hanauma Bay |
