Snorkelers take heed
 

The new full face masks may be related to a disproportionate number of deaths, possibly due to buildup of CO2. Snorkel Bob's won't even carry them. There's no proof, but just something to consider.

It's not the brand, but the style; evidently the mask allows for CO2 buildup. I read about it in West Hawaii Today (easily found in a search) . I agree, they look cumbersome and uncomfortable, and I've seen too many people emerge sputtering and trying to adjust them:) . But maybe that's just the fit on someone who's not accustomed?

Yoiks, just searched for "full face snorkel death" and other keywords; I'm sticking with my mask and snorkel, too!
