Snorkel Fins

My husband and I will be heading back to Hawaii (BI and Kauai) this next summer. While we were snorkeling this last summer, we saw lots of people with small fins that looked much easier than our old big fins. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what those small fins were?
Thanks!!

I bought a set of those short fins, and they are great. They are called reef fins. ((b))

Budman,
Where'd you buy yours?

Budman Aug 26th, 2005 05:46 PM

I bought mine at a local dive shop.

Here's a link to help you out.

You'll find them everywhere in Hawaii. They are quite the thing now.

my kids and their friends use it for boogie boarding. my son picked a pair up for $30 at longs in kapaa. you can probably get it cheaper at walmart.

Thanks again Budman and to all others! I think I'll buy mine mainland, they seem to be cheaper.
