Smoke-Free Italian Restaurant in Wilmington

We sill be staying in Wilmington on the way to Florida and would like any recommendations for a nice smoke-free Italian restaurant for dinner. A good brick oven pizzeria will do. Any suggestions?

Since North Carolina is a tobacco growing state, you are going to have a hard time finding an all non smoking restaurant, just avoid being seated near the bar.

Did I post this in the wrong section? Wilmington is in Delaware, not NC.

There is no 'Delaware' section. All the states collectively appear under the US Forum.

Hilary, Your post is simply on the 'united states' board. The state you may have typed in the little box doesn't show up here.

Sorry, I meant Wilmington, Delaware. I should have specified.

All restaurants and bars are smoke free in Delaware. No brick oven pizza comes to mind - except a Bertucci's in a strip mall one route 202.

Toscanna in Trolley Square is proabably the "nicest", with an "upscale" decor and fare. If you want more homestyle/classic there's Mrs. Robino's in Liitle Italy - it's inexpensive and a tradition among locals from the neighborhood. For a really good meal, but more eclectic/offbeat decor, there's Pastabilities also in Little Italy. It's a small restaurant where you walk by the chef in the open air kithen and then head back to the ~20 seat dining area. The best broccoli rabe ever.

I don't totally understand this website. Some say that all posts regarding the USA fall under that catergory - not under separate states. And yet, I've been planning a trip to Colorado and if I scroll the little state field at the top right and choose Colorado, only Colorado comes up. But then if I do the same for Delaware, all sorts of things appear. Is it just sorting the states out by the one you choose?

That's the search factor working for you.
It sorts responses by key words and if someone has "tagged" their post with a state name, it will show up in response to your "search"

If you just sign on to the US Talk forum, ALL messages will pop up in order of recency, "Unsorted" (as it were.)
