SMITH'S OR GAYLORDS LUAU

I know this has been discussed numerous times, but has anyone been to both and have an opinion, have been to 3 luaus, PCC, Germaines, and Hyatt Big Island, shows good food filling but about it, hubby likes to do and doesn't ask for much so will go to one on Kauai. Any opinions, Thanks.

I have not been to Gaylord's but did Smith's 2 weeks ago. It was absolutely fantabulous. The mai tais are a little weak but good so just drink more of them. The show is great to say the least. The Smith's Tropical Paradise grounds are stunning(30 acres that you won't get anywhere else). I did it with my 12 year old grandkids. They loved it and I loved it.

I agree with jamaltay about Smith's. I've done it twice [with/without kids]. That is the luau my cousin, who lived on Kauai, recommended to us. I loved not feeling boxed in except while eating and even that was not as bad as some.
