SLO County pet friendly lodging
 

We're planning a trip to San Luis Obispo county in December or January, we'll have our dog with us. Can anyone reccomend lodging or a vacation rental that would accept pets? We'd like to stay closer to Paso Robles, but are pretty open at this point.

There is a place that appears to be very dog friendly in Cambria. I've never stayed there, but it looks like a nice place and appears to be popular. We usually stay at a property that is next to it and, as we stroll by, it seems that there are a lot of happy dogs and their owners sitting out, enjoying the front lawn and ocean view. It is called Cambria Shores.

I use www.petswelcome.com when we travel. They have a greater selection than the other websites I have found. I notice that they do have several accommodations listed for Paso Robles. I wish there were more motels/hotels that accept dogs - we really have to plan ahead when we travel.

Thanks for your help everyone we opted for a vacation rental that allows dogs. We're headed out friday, looking forward to it
